Description

As a follow up to last Fall's BAPIN event "Breaking New Ground: Process Innovation at UCSF Medical Center's Mission Bay Campus," which featured Brian Herriot, Director of Mission Bay Operations Planning, we are pleased to offer a unique opportunity to tour UCSF’s new Medical Center at Mission Bay, thanks to Brian and his UCSF colleagues.

As a part of the tour we’ll see their one of a kind Aethon robotic tugs in action and learn about the complex modeling and simulation that went into designing the system. We’ll also learn about their Voalte wireless communication system, OneView patient navigator, as well as patient room designs, public spaces, and a host of other details which make their new facility both cutting edge and patient and family friendly!

Schedule:

8:30 am Register - Coffee & Bagels

8:45 - 9:00 am Brief overview of tour and medical center features

9:00 - 10:00 am Tour of facility (3 small groups)

~ 10:00 am Tour adjourns

Because of the limited number of spaces available we ask that if you register but are not able to attend, please let us know no later than June 15th so that we may open up your spot to others interested in attending. We will gladly refund your registration if we are notified timely.
